This unique tow ball is designed with an opening on the top of the ball where a standard 1/2" square drive ratchet can be inserted for easy and safe installation and removal. Using a ratchet increases grip strength and stops the ball from turning. It also eliminates slipping of the wrench and easily removes rusted nuts. Install shops can save time and money using air impact wrenches or ratchets. The depth of the opening is the full length of the ratchet - 5/8". It provides the most secure fit for safer towing. Available in 1 7/8", 2" and 2 5/16" tow ball sizes. Chrome-plated. Package includes ball, washer and nut.
