While loading my 1999 Yamaha XL 1200 Limited onto my 2003 FE Tandem Watercraft Trailer, the tongue popped off the ball. This came as a surprise as I had it latched and a lock on it. As I looked at the tongue and ball, I found the trailer latch to be loose and the nut backing off. Realizing this happening at the shop was an inconvenience and on the road could have been the end of my skis, I started looking for a cure. Reading a watercraft magazine,
