I bought a Trailer Guardian for my personal
trailer. I work as a mechanic for lumber
mill in the Kalispell, MT area. In the
summer months we always have a 300 gallon
water supply tank that is U.S. forest
approved for fire prevention in the U.S.
forest woods. I showed my boss the Trailer
Guardian and he said let’s put it on the
stinger. A Trailer Guardian was installed
and the nut with the same ¾” air wrench to
tighten ball in place.
The trailer was put on tow vehicle and the
Trailer Guardian was secured to lowest
possible setting and coupler chain hooked up
also. After about 70 miles of towing down a
major highway on forest service roads, a
different noise was noticed, but the trailer
was still following behind us.
When we went to take the trailer off the tow
vehicle we noticed that the ball nut broke
off at the base of the stinger. Thanks to
the Trailer Guardian a major accident did
not occur with lives saved and property loss
avoided.
What a relief and peace of mind, safety and
security that the Trailer Guardian can mean
to those people towing a trailer from now
on.
Thanks again Trailer Guardian.
